Shalina Adane is a sophomore and this is her first year as a staff member in newspaper journalism. Born in Ethiopia then moved to Dubai when she was 12 and then came to the US when she was 14. She finds herself always ending up in new schools, but this time she is sticking to Broadrun. She mostly spends her time playing basketball and soccer. She was part of the freshman basketball team last year and hopes she makes the JV or Varsity team this year. Fun fact about her is that she loves hanging out with her family. She loves going on walks or going on bike rides.She also loves listening to music and watching shows and movies.
