My name is Ari Khan and I am a senior at Broad Run High School. I joined the school newspaper team because I'm very interested in minoring in English. I also enjoy the school magazine, Unbound. That is what really made me take Intro to Journalism, I've always had a hobby of writing poems in my free time. Last year, I submitted my poem; it's called, ¨Road of Bones.¨ I definitely recommend reading it. My hope this year is to make The Spartan News website a bit more diverse. I want there to be emphasis on clubs, activities, and other new opportunities along with sports. I want students to know the information they need to join a cause they're interested in.
