Amnesty International is a platform that speaks about the lives of many people around the world. It is a global movement that helps more than 10 million people who are wanting to create an impact, Such as the wars and conflicts which are deemed to create a humanitarian impact upon others. This also helps to make a change on the world’s crises that people are unaware about but want to resolve conflicts. Then go in detail about how they get involved in many topics of things that go against human rights such as abortion bans, armed conflicts, climate change, death penalties, detention, discrimination etc..
An issue of prejudice among many countries is that it interferes with many human rights and many people find it difficult to express themselves. Otherwise this wouldn’t be an issue, many countries have a certain restriction upon things although this does end up making people upset as it’s their body and their choice. Also the restriction upon self care and avocation does get difficult when one can’t get a sense of inspiration. Again, a notion of advocating human rights and a country that doesn’t have these restrictions creates more of a free will environment that benefits people from certain issues and problems in which benefits them in their own way. Although creating a change is necessary.
There are also many ways to apply and become an Amnesty International supporter through their website if you want to advocate for global crises that are happening in many different countries, then this is the best opportunity for you as a advocator for support and managing your time in these difficult efforts. Also this is a good way to support the global issue that is happening without having the government involved. Protests are happening, but since there are some dangers to it, Amnesty international speaks for online usage upon these mass terrors across the world.
Some students also held their points of the conflicts that are being held upon their countries or their people/nationalities in other countries in which they have experienced racism or prejudice upon their beliefs. One student named Alison Paige who is a Junior has said “In Palestine, the people are having their families taken away, food and all basic necessities.” She advocates for the people of Palestine as they are having mass bombings from Israel and it is hard to survive in the country. She also says “I definitely think that there should be more information spreaded out, and I’m sure that the Palestinians feels sad or lost hope in this cruel war.
Another student named Ashley Escobar who is a sophomore said “I think that one of the major problems in this country is the hardship of immigration” As she feels that her people are being treated unequally and how Trump signed “The Laken Riley Act” which has illegal immigrants moving out of the country but the key takeaway is that many jobs have lost their customers due to the mass workers that are illegal immigrants. As Ashley says “And I know it is wrong that they come into this country without being legal but I just feel like they should have a better reasons rather than deporting them, as they’ve worked so hard for their families” She feels as if it is a price to pay on this topic rather than sending them out of the country.
If you would like to share your story or try to advocate for a global crisis that is impacting many people, Amnesty International is free and it is a good way to send your message to many people around the world. Amnesty has helped millions of people who are trying to advocate for change and they would like to send their message worldwide to many people across the country also it shows support and a view of advocating for a potential cause that is needed to show for a good cause. Worldwide efforts can be made to make a change and it just starts with a voice or a message.
