Broad Run loves Pink week! If you haven’t been living under a rock, then you must know about how much Broad Run loves Pink! For years, pink week has been a favorite time at Broad Run. School spirit is buzzing all around Broad Run, and even in Farmwell as well. Each year a team of DECA students puts together a project, the Pink project. This project partners up with LBHN, Loudoun Breast Health Network. This amazing all volunteer non-profit organization has been helping women with Breast Cancer since 2007. Their mission is to “Assist Loudoun County residents diagnosed with breast cancer through outreach and support.” Their programs are made designed to provide financial and emotional support to these women facing this disease, as well as their family.

This year, three students, Sidney Ramos Josh Liu and AK Garg, are the project managers. They’ve planned many events in order to raise money for LBHN. Their pink spirit week consisted of decked out hallways, a Photo Booth, a raffle for unlimited DECA cookies, and so much more. Besides the very anticipated Pink Game, they’ve had Pink Night at the Zone, Pink power hour, and have raised around $6,000 for LBHN.  Make sure you follow them on Instagram @proudtobepinkbr. These three students really implement the value that Broad Run stands for, as they give back to their community in more ways than one. Broad Run is very proud to be Pink!!!!!
