“I am a BR alumni and played volleyball when the program first started here. I still love Broad Run High School,” said Roberts.

Coach Ellen Roberts has a very tight relationship with her players.  Roberts continues to have faith in Broad Run volleyball for the games to come.

“Well, of course my team will come out with a win over Rock Ridge. They are prepared physically, and hopefully mentally. They deserve this,” said Roberts.

It was a very competitive game between the Rock Ridge Phoenix and the Broad Run Spartans. The first match ended with a score of 25-15 with Broad Run in the lead. The second match ended 25-19, a little closer than the first.  The last and final match to defeat the Rock Ridge Phoenix ended in a score of 25-11 with the Spartans finishing strong to win the game 3-0.

The Broad Run Spartans celebrated the win to make them 3-6, the second best overall in the standings.
